WWU Journalism Alumni,
My name is Olivia Marty and I am a senior Public Relations – Journalism student at Western. I’m reaching out to see if you would be open to meeting with me in the coming months for a project I’m working on for the Journalism Department.
As part of this project, I’m interviewing alumni to gain insight into their career paths and gather advice that can help graduating students as they enter the workforce. Some initial questions I have are:
- What are some key tips for succeeding in an interview?
- What types of experiences are most valuable for entry-level positions?
- What would you recommend undergraduates focus on to make the most of the opportunities available through the department?
